  1. Quite a selection of beauty and elegance. Couldn’t agree more with your choices. πŸ™‚
Why the wrong era? What would have been your choice? The 40’s? (Lauren Bacall?) the 50’s? 60’s?
(It seems to me that elegance is slowly reborn now)

  2. Life is definitely better with cats and books, but for me I would have to change the last thing to nail polish, oh and I should also say dogs as I have a beautiful one but then again he is more of a cat than a dog (he sits on the back of and arms of the sofa).

  3. Hi there Kitt Noir, just calling on over to say many, many thanks for the follow bestowed upon my simple blog. Greatly appreciated and you are warmly welcomed aboard. Feel free to comment and I hope the Hounds don’t frighten your pussy cats away…MM πŸ€

  4. I needed a fabulous blog to follow! All my favorite things, fashion, class, style, and just a great little set up! Getting around to adding more fashion to mine – but I’m still new so for now just finding inspiration.

  5. The wonderful thing about this era is that we can create our own – we do need you to remind us of all that style – someone has to do elegant!

  6. Hi Kitt, I love your blog and now I follow you also on Twitter. I work in fashion (as sales analyst) and I always appreciate your beautiful pictures and your vintage style. See you soon. Laura

  8. I was born in the wrong era too! Fancy that. I should be writing for the New Yorker with Dorothy Parker and her circle in the 1920s but I’m blogging on WordPress in a vintage dress and wig. Call us adaptable! πŸ™‚

  9. I thought I stopped by and say hello! Nice meeting you, Kitt. What a coincidence, I happen to live in a development called Surrey Lake. πŸ™‚ Probably named after the real thing where you live. I’ll be visiting regularly, I’m pretty sure. You have a lovely blog!

  10. Bonjour Mme Noir

So many beautiful pictures, so many beautiful women, so much good healthy food and all presented in a slick, stylish way that reminds me of those very expensive magazines that my wife and daughter are so fond of.

    Bravo

  11. Sorry to be this late with the Mason Bentley blog party, but I had to defend my thesis the day after, so all of my concentration was focused on that…I really love your blog btw, it’s such an interesting combination. I’ll be enjoying your future posts for sure!

  12. Thanks for visiting! Glad you like vintage movie posters. If only it were me in the swimsuit pic! I decided Ava Gardner much more glamourous instead though πŸ˜‰

  13. Hi! I had only a quick scroll but already saw your great collection of vintage movie posters! And the art! I’m gonna have a closer look as an after party remedy! See you again soon!

  14. Thanks for visiting and the kind comments! I’m now off to wander around your blogs and say hello back. Will bring some fizz and cupcakes πŸ˜‰

  15. Hi there, nice to meet you through the Mason Bentley bloggers party! I like your blog, it’s like flicking trough a magazin with only pretty pictures: no nonsense, just pretty stuff. All the best!
